LOBERÍA
Snorkeling in the turquoise water of La Loberia you will have the opportunity to spot sea lions from close, and with a little luck, you may even see marine turtles.
SAN CRISTOBAL
Explore the magnificence and the wonders of San Cristobal. We will make a full loop around San Cristobal Island and will have several opportunities to snorkel and swim in incredibly beautiful waters, next to sharks, sea turtles and observe many of the distinctive birds of the Galapagos Islands.
INTERPRETATION CENTER, CERRO TIJERES (FRIGATEBIRD HILL)
You will learn more about the origin of the Galapagos Islands, and discover the beautiful scenery. This tour will give you the opportunity to see what makes the Galapagos Islands so special and its conservation culture.
CHARLES DARWIN RESEARCH STATION
Learn about the archipelago, visit the interactive museum where you will learn about the work done by the Charles Darwin Research Station, which puts all its efforts into the conservation, restoration and sustainable development of the islands. This place is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about the research and evolution of the islands. Here you can also visit the breeding center where the turtles born in captivity are located, which stay up to three years before being released into their natural habitat. Additionally, from its viewpoint you can take wonderful photos in the middle of a beautiful landscape.
TORTUGA BAY
In this beautiful white sanded beach you will be able to see where tortoises come to lay their eggs. It is a place full of fauna where you can see marine iguanas, yellow flowering cacti and colorful tropical birds.
EXTINCT VOLCANO OF SANTA CRUZ
In the Highlands of the island, known for its lava tunnels and the amazing ocean views. You will definitely have the opportunity to spot a Giant Tortoise in its natural environment!
BARTHOLOMEW
You will discover this relatively small but amazing island. What this Island lacks in wildlife it makes up for scenery. At the top of a steep wooden stairway, there is a magnificent 360-degree view which boasts a perfect angle from which you can take unforgettable photos of Carved Rock, Pinackle Rock, and the ocean in the background. Your experience will not be complete if you don’t snorkel in the waters of this impressive paradise.
PUERTO VILLAMIL ON ISABELA ISLAND
Isabela is the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago, and home to many unique species of flora and fauna. Puerto Villamil is its capital and the third most populated of the Islands in the Galapagos.
MURO DE LÁGRIMAS (WALL OF TEARS)
Is a wall that was built by prisoners with not much more than their bare hands in the 1940s. Fortunately this prison is no longer occupied, and it forms part of the landscape and the history of Isabela. You can climb up to the top of the structure, where you can meditate on the incredible contrast between the beautiful scenery of Galapagos, and the traces of those who once lived there.
SNORKELLING IN THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
Have the opportunity to explore more in depth the amazing world that lives under the sea. While snorkelling you will see different schools of colorful fish, an amazing variety of corals, starfish and much more. You may also have the chance of swimming with reef sharks and sea turtles.
SIERRA NEGRA
In contrast to other volcanoes in the Islands, this excursion will take you to the active Sierra Negra volcano. Here you can witness, certainly not too close, the spectacular caldron of lava, which is the largest on the Galapagos Island.
